To be fingerprinted, you must show a valid photo ID. Bring the cards if your business or school has provided the fingerprint cards. It is also helpful if you have a black pen.
When and where can I be fingerprinted?
Fingerprinting is done at the Homewood Police Department in downtown Homewood. When you enter the lobby, pick up the phone on the wall to let the dispatcher know that you need to be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is done 24 hours a day, except for while court is in session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 4pm and 10pm. We do not recommend that you come during the lunch hours. If the corrections officers are busy processing an arrest, you may be asked to wait or return at a later time.
